Book Award Roundup: Governor General's Award 2014 nominees

Although we've already posted about the novel and short story collections that have been The Hilary Weston Prize -- back in September, but this week's announcement of the Governor General's Literary Awards has left us with even more great Canadian reading to highlight. given the nod this fall by the big Canadian books awards, there are plenty of other books being given recognition this fall books season that deserve mention. Giller Prize focuses only on Fiction, and we post about the shortlist for the Writer's Trust Awards big nonfiction prize --
