2014 Impac Award Shortlist

The IMPAC (The International Impac Dublin Literary Award) is the world’s richest

English language book prize and the nominees are books of "high literary merit" and are selected from suggestions from libraries around the world. Here are the ten which were shortlisted this year.

Halifax Public Libraries has been nominating our favourites for this prize for many years - sometimes they make the cut and sometimes they don't. This time we nominated:
