~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Lost is surely one of the most beautiful and powerful books to be published in Canada this year.” - Halifax Herald
- …an impressive work that resolves extraordinarily difficult material into moving, effective narrative and achingly beautiful prose poetry.” - Globe and Mail
You will be thinking about the book long after you have finished it. - Owl's Nest Books
From the beginning, there’s something in Ostlere’s tone; something in the slow, stately march of the words she chooses to relate this deeply personal tale. Lost breaks the heart, again and again. - January Magazine
Lost is a classic adventure story rendered in beautiful, sometimes haunting prose. But it is also a startling honest meditation on desire, family, and fulfillment. How does a man live an authentic life? And what happens when that life is lost?” - Karen Connelly, author of The Lizard Cage (M)
