2011 Giller Prize Longlist












The Long list for the 2011 Giller Prize has been announced. The Giller prize is one of the most distinguished and lucrative literary awards in Canada. Howard Norman, who we often claim as our own, is on the jury list year along with Annabel Lyon and Andrew O'Hagan. The shortlist will be announced on October 4th and the winner on November 8th.

Also mark your calendars for Nov 1st, when we are hosting our "Gearing Up for the Gillers" program at the Spring Garden Road Public Library.
