Book Launch - Iqaluit, by Nick Newbery

Local MSVU professor, author and photographer Nick Newbery is set to release the newest edition of his book, Iqaluit: gateway to Baffin. Of special note is that the book is trilingual, published in English, French and Inuktuit

Nick Newbery is well known at my branch, the Keshen Goodman Public Library, having delivered a super popular series of lectures on the Canadian North, as part of our Classes for the Masses program series (a partnership between our local universities and Halifax Public Libraries)

Nick is a fantastic and engaging speaker, one who is very passionate about Canada's North. Nick will be reading from his book, showing some of his prized artifacts and photographs, and samples of traditional food from the Eastern Arctic.

If you are interested in learning more about Iqaluit, please join us Wednesday evening, March 3rd, 7:00 pm at the Keshen Goodman Public Library. All are Welcome.
