Books into Films @ Atlantic Film Festival

The 32nd Atlantic Film Festival begins on Thursday, Sept 13th.

Among the many great film screenings are five films that are based on books.

- based on the award winning novel (M) by literary superstar Salman Rushdie.

by Bill Jones, Jeff Simpson, and Ben Timlet 2012

- based on the memoir (M) by the British comedian Graham Chapman.

Joshua Tree 1951: a portrait of James Dean
by Matthew Mishory 2012

- based on the 1961 memoir by James Dean's roommate William Bast.
